We are looking for a Technical Sales Specialist – Canada

The successful applicant will be responsible to represent our strong product suite, strengthen relationships, and establish new opportunities with key customers throughout the territory.

Reporting to the Executive Vice President, you will be involved with the continued growth and success of SFC Energy Canada. You will have proven abilities to achieve long-term and mutually beneficial customer relationships while establishing new business.

What we expect?

• 5 plus years’ experience programming SCADAPack RTUs and Allen Bradley or Modicon PLC’s. • Experience with industrial instrumentation specifically pressure and flow metering technologies • Knowledge of how to configure gas and liquid flow computers and SCADAPack applications. • Involvement in developing or operating SCADA and HMI systems with a preference around Geo SCADA. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment. • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for occasional overnight trips.

The activities consist of:

• Responsible for representing SFC Energy strong Process Automation offering, improving customer satisfaction, and developing new day-to-day business across the portfolio of solutions. • Provide detailed technical expertise and solutions on the specification, set-up, installation, operation, and application of the Process Automation product suite. • Provide sales support to the Sales and Marketing Department through interaction with the customer, strategic account planning and project management. • Responsible for coordination of internal/external product and application training as it pertains to the Automation, Measurement, and Energy product lines as required. • Responsible for providing the Sales & Marketing Group with all product changes and updates. • Interacts with manufacturers on technical and commercial support as required. • Strong team approach/collaboration with Management, Sales, Technical Services and Peers. • Responsible for knowing all pricing of products and technical specifications. • Additional duties as required and directed by the Executive Vice President.
