  • What We Expect?

  • Minimum 1-2 years Panel Assembly, or related manufacturing experience.
  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in a Technical, Electrical, or Science related field of study (or equivalent work-related experience is accepted)
  • ISO 9001 Quality Systems Management Experience is considered an Asset
  • Attention to detail
  • Must be fluent in Microsoft Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Perform Quality inspection on SFC assembled products, as per company standards & policies
  • Perform Quality inspection & testing of integrated systems, including VFD, RTU and Fuel Cell systems
  • Provide immediate feedback on nonconforming panels to Production Supervisor and Assembler. This includes communicating non-conformances to technicians and assist/collaborate to resolve
  • Ensure integration compliance to SFC Production, Industry standards, and to regulatory bodies. (NRTL, AHJ, UL, CSA and CEC)
  • Ability to Power-Up with low voltage systems ranging from 5VDC to 96VDC and 120VAC to 1000VAC
  • Verify drawings and inspection sheets provided by assembly match the panel and required information has been completed on the records
  • Aptitude for functional programming and configuration of control devices and communication infrastructures on localized equipment
  • Identify & troubleshoot equipment as required, to resolve product malfunctions
  • Provide clear, accurate and complete test reports for each panel inspected
  • Provide Production Design with mark-up drawings once test is complete
  • Maintain all test equipment in good working condition
  • Take an active role to support and follow SFCs policies, controls and procedures that are in place to meet our environmental objectives and to initiate continual improvement
  • Assist in identifying problems and troubleshooting as required
  • Follow path of escalation for quality assurance issues to the Quality team and Production management on a timely basis
  • Maintain a clean, safe and healthy working environment and follow all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Assist in drafting better practices for improving the efficiency and efficacy of quality guidelines
  • Work with Panel Tester and Production Supervisor to meet schedule requirements for multiple projects
  • Additional duties as required and directed by Production Manager and/or Production Supervisor
