We are looking for a Business Development Representative – Montreal – QC

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, a successful candidate will possess the skills

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Must be results-orientated and able to work both independently.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales.

  • What We Expect?

  • Bilingual (French/English) is a requirement
  • Business or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Technology Certification.
  • 5 plus years of related industry experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, as frequent travel is required.
  • Network within government organizations.
  • Understanding of public tendering processes
  • Experience in the either security/surveillance, or telecommunication, or mining segment (Northern Quebec) is an asset
  • Self-starter, with experience working in a remote position
  • Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Proactively pursue applicable Off-Grid Power applications and opportunities within various industries, primarily focused on the government entities.
  • Development of sales strategies and delivery of presentations.
  • Create new sales opportunities through prospecting calls.
  • Research and build relationships with new clients.
  • Provide detailed sales reports using CRM tools on customer projects and opportunities.
  • Drive growth to meet or exceed yearly booking targets.
  • Strong team approach/collaboration with Management, Service, Production, and Peers.
