The Instrument Area Network from Schneider Electric is a new approach to providing an ultra-reliable wireless sensor network that gives you actionable insight into the condition of your high-value assets, so you can best protect and optimize your operation.
Battery-powered, intrinsically safe pressure and temperature transmitters with a range of up to 50 feet (15M) relay information over a secure mesh network to a battery-powered data concentrator. The concentrator then links to a new or existing WirelessHART network back to the control system.
Battery life is guaranteed to be 10 or more years for the instruments and 5 or more years for the concentrator.
